Like several other of the long-term employees at EGS, Andy began his career journey as an apprentice at Paxman Diesels (now MAN B&W Diesel LTD) in 1977 as a Governor Fitter/Tester which lasted for four years. Upon completion of his apprenticeship he began working as a Service Engineer; fault-finding and repairing. Throughout these experiences, Andy became increasingly dedicated to the completion of each job to the best of his ability and decided to start up his own company to offer a better service to customers with an even better quality of workmanship.

From the first days of EGS, Andy has never ceased looking for ways to improve the business and to continue to provide an exceptionally high level of quality service to customers. This is where Andy’s passion shines; he strives to go above and beyond customer expectations in order to guarantee customer satisfaction.

In addition to his commitment to EGS, Andy is very interested in motorsports having participated at Goodwood and Brands Hatch. He also particularly enjoys home renovating.
