PG-EG

The PG-EG is used on diesel engines or turbine prime movers. Due to the advantage of its electronic control, it was designed to replace the earlier PGA, PGG and PGE type governors on installations involving unattended starts.

The actuator can operate with drive speeds ranging from 200 to 1200rpm.

Other features:

• Self-contained oil supply
• Rotary or linear output
• Various servo options available
• Compatible with all Woodward electronic controls with output ranging from 0-200 mA.
• An oil cooler may be necessary with this model for applications with high drive speed or high ambient temperatures
• Air start booster unit facility

2301D-GT

Much like the 2301-ST, the GT model is a field-configurable control, but designed for use with single-shaft gas turbine applications as opposed to steam turbines.

505E

Designed to operate single-extraction and/or admission steam turbines of all sizes and applications. The unique PID structure of the 505E makes it ideal for use in the control parameters such as turbine speed, turbine load, turbine inlet pressure, exhaust header pressure, extraction or admission header pressure or tie-line power.

Further features:

• Field-configurable steam turbine controller
• Integrated operator control panel
• Problem indicator logic
• Easy to use menu format with large LED display
• Modbus® Communications
• Valve decoupling and protection

DSLC

The DSLC control is a microprocessor-based synchroniser and load control designed for use owith three-phase AC generators in complex applications. It can control up to 32 generator sets and a range of up to 999mw.

It has the following functions:

• Synchroniser, generator soft loading, slip frequency paralleling
• Load sensor
• Load control
• Dead bus closing system
• VAR/PF
• Process control.
• Ethernet, Modbus RS-232 & 485 communications
• UL/cUL & CE listing

SPM-D

The SPM-D10 is a microprocessor based synchroniser designed for use on three phase AC generators equipped with speed controls and automatic voltage regulators. Frequency, phase and voltage are automatically matched using either analogue or discrete output bias signals. There is a two line LCD display with a number of features including synchroscope indication, password protection, PC configuration and breaker status indication.

Available variants:

• The SPM-D10/YB – three-phase generator and bus measurement
• The SPM-D11 – load/var sharing
• The SPM-D21 – synchronisation for two circuit breakers and load control

723PLUS

The 723PLUS Digital Control is an enhanced version of the 723. It manages and controls reciprocating engines (gas, diesel, or dual fuel) used in power generation, marine propulsion and industrial engine and process markets.

The 723PLUS control requires the same power supply input voltages as the 723 model.

Features include:

• 32-bit microprocessor
• 1 Watch Window or hand held programmer communication port
• 2 serial ports with Modbus® * and Servlink protocol choices
• 2 local operating network (LON® **)

Compliance:

• UL/cUL Class 1
• Bureau Veritas for Vessels
• Det Norske Veritas for marine applications Temp Class B
• Germanischer Lloyd & Lloyds register of shipping certification
• Registro Italiano Navale compliance with RINA type approval system
• European Union (EU) compliant with EMC and low voltage directive

PSG (Pressure Compensated Simple Governor)

The PSG’s only difference from the SG is that it has a compensation system which adds temporary droop to the governor during speed transients. The SG operation can be either isochronous or droop with externally adjustable droop available.

This governor shares common parts with the SG unit as listed above.

TG611

The TG611 is TG Governor with an integral overspeed test device. They are self-contained, mechanical-hydraulic, speed-droop governors designed for use of small steam turbines whereby isochronous operation is not required.
The governor senses and controls turbine speed through its being directly coupled to the turbine rotor or auxiliary shaft.
The governor is available in two sizes of work output; 12 and 17.5 ft-lbs.
Other features:
• Low cost
• Speed droop control
• NEMA “A” speed control
• Weatherproof and durable in hard environments

505DE

Based on the 505 and 505E but designed to control double automatic extraction/admission steam turbines.

Further Features:

• Simplex or dual redundant models
• Integrated turbine control and protection
• Automatic start/stop routines
• OEM qualified algorithms
